Teens ages 12 and up are invited to spend Thursday afternoons with us from 3:30 to 4:30 in the McKinley Birthplace Home for fun programs! These programs are walk-in and do NOT require pre-registration. 

Please note: during holiday seasons, these weekly themes are subject to change.

For children ages 18 months to 5 years; Features music, instruments, parachute play and more! Meets one Friday a month at 10:00 a.m. Sessions typically last 30 minutes. Registration is NOT required.

Need directions?
To get to the Wellness Center from the Library, take W. Park Ave. for a little less than a mile and turn right on Sharkey Drive.  The Wellness Center is a quarter mile ahead in Waddell Park.

Bring a stuffed toy, action figure, or doll as your companion to a special tea party. 

There will be games, crafts, and snacks at this fun activity.

Come build with LEGOs, construct interesting sets, and tell fun stories in our LEGO Club!  Build with the LEGOs and then tell a story on the iPad using our Story Visualizer App.

June 14th: Summer Reading Kick-Off!
Register for the Summer Reading Program and play music themed video games Guitar Hero, Rock Band and Just Dance.

June 21st: Fun with STEAM
Come and play with new technology, including 3Doodler and Bloxets, where you can create and play with your own video game character!

Mondays are crazy, and we've embraced it!  School-age children are able to join us after school for casual activities.

First Mondays:  LEGO Club, part I.  Come build fun sets with the materials we provide.

Second Mondays: LEGO Club, part II.  Use the builds in constructed in the first week to create a story on the Story Visualizer app on the iPads we provide for use.

Third Mondays: For the artsy types, come create a simple craft.

Fourth Mondays:  For all who are curious, come conduct a simple experiment in the library.

Along with their caregivers, babies and toddlers will explore tunes, stories, and other fun activities in this action-packed program.

Children, ages 3-5, and their caregivers are invited to join us for a special storytime, we will explore the rhythm of math, the melody of music, and the sounds of stories.

3-5 year-olds and their caregivers are in for a good time, if they join us for rhymes, songs, stories, and more in this Tuesday morning storytime.
