Teens ages 12 and up are invited to spend Thursday afternoons with us from 3:30 to 4:30 in the McKinley Birthplace Home for fun programs! These programs are walk-in and do NOT require pre-registration.
June 14th: Summer Reading Kick-Off!
Register for the Summer Reading Program and play music themed video games Guitar Hero, Rock Band and Just Dance.
June 21st: Fun with STEAM
Come and play with new technology, including 3Doodler and Bloxets, where you can create and play with your own video game character!
June 28th: Disney Day
Sing Disney Karaoke, play Disney Scene It and make Disney Paper Crafts.
July 5th: Kubo and the Two Strings Movie n' Popcorn
Come enjoy some popcorn & watch the movie Kubo and the Two Strings. This program will end later at approximately 5:15 p.m.
July 12th: Rocks Rocks!
Learn about the science behind rocks and more with staff from the Youngstown State University.
July 19th: Simple Science
Start growing your own crystal and make different kinds of slime.
July 26th: Back to the 80s Summer Reading Finale Party
Join us for music and games, including classic Nintendo, and celebrate the height of eccentric fashion with a costume contest. Those who come in costume will be entered to win bonus prizes!
