Research from the Sleep Foundation suggests that smell can affect many aspects of sleep. Different scents can promote better sleep, increase length of sleep, and influence dreams. Join us at the McKinley Birthplace Home as Janet Agueda of Making Scents Studio in Niles discusses the connection between scent and sleep. She will also teach participants how to make their own pillow spray.

Native Americans in the Mahoning Valley

November is National Native American Heritage Month! Celebrate by learning about the history of Native Americans in the Mahoning Valley and making a fun craft. Children will hear true stories of Native Americans in our area and see original artifacts including a wampum belt, an Iroquois horn rattle, and black bear pelts. All supplies will be provided.
