Meet the Author. The Political Transformation of David Tod.

Born to a politically active family in the Western Reserve, David Tod served as a lawyer and postmaster before becoming a senator in 1838. During the Civil War, recently elected Ohio governor David Tod shed his Democratic loyalty to support the Union cause. Join us in the auditorium of the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial Museum as Joseph Lambert, Jr., discusses the evolution of David Tod’s political beliefs and the importance of his loyalty to country over partisanship.

There will be a book signing after the presentation. Presented in partnership with the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial Museum.
