June 15—Summer Reading Teen Kickoff: Escape from Oz

You are challenged to work together just like the four famous friends in Oz to get Dorothy home. Will you make it out? Or will you be forced to stay in Oz forever? Please remember to register by calling 330-652-1704 ext. 4.

June 22—Anime Club

Do you enjoy anime? Are you interested in learning about Japanese culture? If so, then this is the club for you! Meet up with other teens to watch anime, discuss your favorite series, and learn some basic Japanese phrases.

June 29—PAWS Therapy Dogs

Spend an hour relaxing with sweet and lovable service dogs, provided by PAWS Therapy Dogs. You can read them a story from books we will have on hand or bring some of your own writing for them to "woof"-read. You won't hear any judgement or harsh criticism from these pups!

July 6—Mini-Canvas Painting

Paint some tiny canvases to help create a giant work of art that will be on display throughout the rest of July in the library! Canvases may be taken home starting July 31st and may also be entered into this year's art contest.

July 13—Anime Club

Do you enjoy anime? Are you interested in learning about Japanese culture? If so, then this is the club for you! Meet up with other teens to watch anime, discuss your favorite series, and learn some basic Japanese phrases.

July 20—Eco Art Experience presented by the HELMS Foundation

Teens are invited to create a collage with items found in nature. All materials will be provided. This program will take place on the side lawn of the McKinley Birthplace Home, weather permitting.
