Teens ages 12 and up are invited to spend Thursday afternoons with us from 3:30 to 4:30 in the McKinley Birthplace Home for fun programs! These programs are walk-in and do NOT require pre-registration.
JUNE 20st: Full STEAM Ahead!
Come and play with new technology, including a 3Doodler (3D pen!) and Bloxels (want to make your own video game?).
JUNE 27th: Space/Galaxy Painting
Create your own galaxy painted tote bag to take home.
JULY 11th: Tabletop RPG Part 1
Learn how Dungeon Word works and build yourself a character. Space-themed board games will also be available.
July 18th: Tabletop RPG Part 2, presented by Ian Kundus, Kent State Trumbull Branch Adjunct English Professor
Use the character made in Part 1 to play through a campaign of Dungeon World. Those who do not wish to play will have other options available.
July 25th: Finale Party: the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Watch cult classic movie, based on Douglas Adams’ book of the same name. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. This program will run until almost 5:30.
